MONDAY - Welcome To Pets World

By DR Rawson

“Well, Larry, this is Feline City. Every type of cat has a place here. You can bring your cat to play with the other cats,” said Connie. "You should bring Bell, your pet golden retriever, to the dog section. It’s called  it’s a Dog’s World.”

Connie asked Larry, “Well, what do you think?” Larry asked,

“Is there anything a cat can’t do here?” Connie said, “

"They can do everything except leave by themselves. They must remember to take the person who brought them home with them when they leave. If they don’t, there’s a lost parents section over there," said Connie.

TUESDAY - Feel The Paper

By DR Rawson

Evette and Stony loved their Dad and Grandpa. They especially loved to visit them at the industrial paper mill. They loved the smell, and Grandpa would show them the wet pulp before it turned into paper.

Dad said, “This industrial pulp can become a shopping bag, toilet paper, hand towels, or the paper used in your favorite books. The choice is made by the Paper Master. He is your Grandpa.

Grandpa added, “Today, we’re going to make the paper for a book you might read in the future. When you read it, you can think of me and your dad.”

WEDNESDAY - Choices Define Everything

By DR Rawson

Morgan discovered books about age six. I don’t recall her ever going anywhere without a book.

One day, her Mother and she were doing dishes, and she said to her Mom,
“I want to travel like you and Dad have done. I can’t believe I’m going to have to wait so many years before I’m old enough to travel.”

She said,
“What if you could travel tomorrow? Saturday. I know a way for you to travel anywhere you want to go.” I watched her almost jump out her new shoes. She said, “Where Mom, where.” My wife said, “The library.”

THURSDAY - You Can Do That

By DR Rawson

Brie practiced all morning before her big recital on Saturday. She was so excited. Mrs. Hastings said, “Getting this recital right will go a long way towards improving your skillset to become a Prima Ballerina. Be careful as you twirl.”

Brie has been taking ballerina lessons for four years since she was four years old. At this point, she felt like she was a top performer. After all, she’s always been the number-one ballerina.

The Saturday recital was a success. On the way home, Brie turned to her Mom and said, “I told you, Mom, this girl’s got skills.

FRIDAY - Oh No

By DR Rawson

Dad secretly peeked around the corner. It looked like Becky and her brother, Tommy, were praying. They were using silence to practice their writing. Then he thought, maybe they’re praying for help.

He thought, am I a bad dad? I should be in there helping them. I certainly know how to write better than they do. Should they feel like they have to pray? And, with that thought, he rushed into their room and said, “Hey guys, what are you up to.”

Becky and Tommy looked at each other and said in unison, “Dad is the answer to our prayer.

SATURDAY - Blueprints For The Future

By Rick Allen

Sophie and her dad transformed their living room into an elaborate cityscape.

As the self-appointed “chief architect,” Sophie directed the construction, using empty milk cartons for skyscrapers and books for bridges.

Her eager assistant, Dad, followed her elaborate blueprints, drawn in crayons and full of imaginative designs.

As they built, Sophie declared, “One day, I’ll build real cities, Dad!”

He smiled, realizing these moments were building more— they were building dreams for the future.

Sophie learned that every playful project could be a step toward her dreams, embracing opportunities to learn and grow even from the living room floor.

SUNDAY - Flip Side Of Pride

By Rick Allen

At the end of the school year family breakfast, Jamie puffed out his chest with pride and boasted he was the master pancake flipper,

much to his mom’s amusement.

With a confident grin, he tossed his pancake high into the air — only to watch it land on the kitchen floor.

Mom, suppressing a giggle, flipped hers perfectly, then offered him a warm smile and a quick lesson.

“Sometimes, son,” she said, “the best way to learn is to watch your pancakes fall.”

Together, they laughed, and Jamie learned that true humility comes with recognizing your limits and learning from mishaps.
