Forgiveness

Sam decides to keep the key, excitement bubbling as he searches for what it might unlock. But during his adventure, Sam loses it somewhere along the way. Heart sinking, he returns to the caretaker and admits his mistake.

The caretaker listens with a kind smile. “We all make mistakes, Sam. Forgive yourself; what matters is that you tried.” The experience leaves Sam with a new understanding of forgiveness—both giving and receiving it. He walks away lighter, knowing that forgiveness opens doors just as powerfully as any key.
